Our History

Ringtails Unleashed is a privately run rescue organization that takes care of animals in need in the western Wyoming region.

We started Ringtails Unleashed in 2019 after we took in a very young raccoon that had become habituated to people and could no longer survive in the wild. That experience opened an entire new world of rescue for us. We no longer focused on just the unwanted domestic farm animals but our local wildlife as well. 

Since then, we have saved, rehabilitated and rehomed or relocated many, many animals!

And with your help, we hope to continue for a very long time!

Our Mission
At Ringtails Unleashed our mission is to:

1. Protect and care for animals in need due to human conflict or interactions.
2. Engage with the community and spread awareness about animals, their care, and conservation.
3. Create a safe environment for people of all walks of life to enjoy and connect with our animals.
